REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills and Experience
The candidate shall demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:
Experience in offshore structures, installations, and offshore operations is preferred
Experience with AP systems is highly appreciated
Ability to coordinate and interface with project discipline engineers and ASSET departments as required
Ability to work autonomously under managerial supervision while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Languages
Fluent English
Fluent French
Certifications (Non-Exhaustive List)
☒ Valid BOSIET (OPITO Approved)
☒ Valid MFC
☐ Valid Seaman Book
SCOPE OF SERVICES / JOB DESCRIPTION
The services shall be performed autonomously, under managerial supervision and in coordination with other disciplines.
Main Responsibilities (Non-Exhaustive List)
The Vessel Operations Engineer shall be responsible for:
Vessel Package Management
Managing all technical and operational aspects related to the vessel package, including:
Vessel scheduling
Logistics coordination
Engineering follow-up
Review of method statements
Follow-up of construction and installation aids
Supervision of subcontractor engineering activities when required
Procurement and Technical Documentation
Preparing material and service requisitions related to the vessel package, including:
Technical specifications
Scope of Work (SoW)
Material Take-Offs (MTO)
Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE)
Operational Coordination
Participating in risk assessments and providing operational recommendations
Coordinating mobilization of onboard resources and overseeing crewing requirements
Managing vessel operations, including:
Mobilization and demobilization
Offshore works
Coordination of subcontractors during offshore installation campaigns
Project Operations Support
Acting as Project Operations Engineer for the coordination of vessel activities during both preparation and execution phases.
